Project Manager – (Vertical GC / CM)
Description:
For the position of Project Manager, the candidate should have a degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related field and have a minimum of 8-10 years of project management experience in both the public and private sectors managing vertical building projects in excess of $10 Million.
Responsibilities:
- Use of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Project, Etc.)
- Use of Document Management Software (Procore or similar)
- Use of BlueBeam Revu & BlueBeam Studio
- Preparation of Meeting Minutes & Project Correspondence
- Change Management & Cost Control Procedures
- Monthly Project Budgeting & Reporting
- Scheduling Using MS Project, Primavera P-6 or similar
- Strong negotiation and dispute resolution skills
Requirements:
- Proven ability to lead dynamic construction teams
- Value team building and development
- Have a deep understanding of all elements of the GCCMD business
- Have the commitment to lead and manage projects
- Minimum 15 years experience in the vertical construction industry including business development and operational oversight. GC, CM, DBCM, GCCMD
- Connecticut vertical construction market knowledge a huge plus. We intend to compete at theĀ highest level for private, institutional and healthcare related construction projects. Both public and private.
