ProSearch, Intl. is rapidly becoming the go to recruiting firm for Carolinas based heavy civil contractors serving the heavy highway & sitework markets. We have been engaged to assist a well-established, AGC award winning general contractor, to fill the role of Corporate Development Manager. This client engagement / business development role will be instrumental to the company's continued growth in the transportation, railroad and energy sectors.
Responsibilities:
- Design and execute comprehensive regional business development strategy that supports organization's growth & financial objectives.
- Leverage an already established client base to identify, satisfy prequal's & secure right fit project opportunities across transportation, railroad and energy business sectors.
- Conduct market and client research to identify emerging trends and new business opportunities.
- Prepare & present client presentations that contain necessary technical expertise and a commitment to collaborative success.
- Develop client engagement strategies that highlight organization's successful track record of project execution in targeted sectors.
- Offer consistent, transparent communication with company executive team
- Maintain engaged collaboration with preconstruction & estimating team members while reinforcing unity on objectives and shared accountability.
- Engage with industry trade associations, neighboring communities where work is being performed as well as universities and trade schools in an impactful, professional manner.
Requirements:
- Capacity to operate with autonomy, entrepreneurial spirit and professional disposition required to service internal colleagues, existing clients and potential clients.
- Capacity to promote the organization's Safety First motto as well as quality and customer services standards.
- Capacity to embody professional, knowledgeable approach to all interactions that impact the organization's position in the marketplace.
- Regional travel throughout the Carolinas, and potentially bordering states to identify right fit opportunities with existing clients and new business opportunities.
- Reasonable technical acumen on heavy civil work scopes centered around minor excavation, utilities & concrete structures.
- 10+ years of civil construction experience with a contractor, industry vendor, energy or manufacturing organization in which role & duties entailed project development or project oversight.
